You don’t need two free hours a day to improve your spoken English. You need ten focused minutes — every day, without exception. Here is the exact routine our mentors give learners who are short on time.
Minute 1–2: Read one paragraph aloud
Pick any English paragraph — a news snippet, a book page, even a product description. Read it aloud twice. The first time, focus on finishing. The second time, focus on rhythm: where do the pauses go?
Minute 3–5: Shadow a native speaker
Play a 60-second clip from any interview or podcast. Speak along with the audio, copying the speed and tone. You will stumble — that’s the exercise working. Shadowing trains your mouth, not your memory.
Minute 6–8: Answer one question, out loud
Ask yourself one question — “What was the best part of my day?” or “What am I working on this week?” — and answer in English for two full minutes. No stopping, no switching languages. If you get stuck, describe the thing you can’t name.
Minute 9–10: Record and replay
Record your two-minute answer on your phone once a week. Listen back. You’ll cringe — everyone does — but you’ll also hear exactly which sounds and words to work on next. After a month, replay your first recording. The difference will shock you.
Consistency beats intensity. Ten minutes daily beats two hours on Sunday — every single time.
